Alejandro Santillana is a recent graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, with a degree in Biology: Ecology, Evolution, and Behavior. Under Dr. Alex Wild as a UT Insect Collection (UTIC) volunteer, Alejandro gained an introduction to insect photography and macrophotography. He gained experience in focus-stacking, white-box studio, and field methods of photography during his time contributing to Insects Unlocked, an open-domain imaging project.
